Almost
Antagonistically present
Like the penitentiary solstice
Of your embrace
If I swallow
One hundred years of wrong
For the instance
I won’t be
In the pause before
Your skeleton caves
Before you give out
And I give in
To be good enough
Invited as such
In your host’s blood
Tending
