Cat Behind a Window

the fourth Karamazov child

crowned miss world

in early spring

pray for chaos

to have sympathy

if I exert my will

will chaos change once

it is explained

or does the magic disappear

outside is a bird

there is just no image available

to prove it   only pieces of pelvis

and once again   I accept I am

a self narrating being   naked against the glass

reading a history   of what my blood dreams

there are no secrets here

only birds to chase

Cat Breath

to become herself

she would

have to eat

her own hair

a practice based on

the theory of paincircles

relies on evidence

of laughter evolution

seafoam walking into the sun

legged and becoming

her hair developed underwater

before the legs and lungs

still her own only now

pulled down by gravity

in the air it curdles

and is still from the salt
